Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and payment via PayPal. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

All goods are despatched by courier or pallet carrier. Our parcel carrier is Express Despatch. Our pallet carrier is Palletways.

Delivery costs are charged by weight except for large and bulky items to which a volumetric weight is applied. Volumetric weights are generally applicable to large plastic toolboxes and mudwings, however these can be offset by adding other smaller items to your order. Please telephone us if you are in any doubt.

Goods may be delivered at any time between 0800hrs and 1930hrs Monday to Friday. If you are out goods may be left with a neighbour. A calling card will be left to show that the carrier has been showing contact details to enable you to re-arrange delivery.

Goods are sent out between Monday and Friday.

Delivery Schedule

All goods on our site are available from stock, unless stated on the product page saying 7-10 days delivery. Orders received before 3pm will normally be despatched the same day and will be delivered according to your choice of delivery option.

You must inform us within two working days of the expected delivery date if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will place it on back order for you. You will always be notified by email with the option to cancel your order. In most cases we will include a delivery timescale when we are out of stock, so that you have an idea of how long your order will take.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. Customers based in other EU countries who are Vat registered and are able to provide their VAT details can be supplied VAT excluded.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy

Truckware do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' (in Internet Explorer) and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

Returns Policy

If you are in any way unhappy with any of your purchases, you can return all unused goods, in their original packaging, within 7 days for a refund or exchange. When returning items please include the original, or a copy of the invoice that we supplied, if you have any questions or concerns you should email us with a description of fault or reason for return and we will be happy to advise and provide a solution. At Truckware we also meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.

Should a replacement product be required we will arrange for our couriers to deliver the new item and collect the faulty/damaged item at the same time, this will minimise the inconvenience to you, please make sure that the item due to be collected must be packed or wrapped, as the couriers will not collect non-packaged goods, and will be unable to leave the replacement, if they are unable to collect the return, if this does happen you may be liable for a second delivery attempt charge of £10.00 + Vat.

If you require a refund, we will credit your origional payment method within 7 days of receipt of the returned product. Please note that the delivery charge is non-refundable. For faulty goods, we will either replace the goods or refund you in full (including delivery charges) refunds for faulty goods are made within 28 days of receipt.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.

You may cancel your order at any stage before, and up to 7 days after the goods are delivered to you by notifying us in writing at the address or emailing us. We aim to process your order for dispatch on the same day of receiving it. Consequently, even if you do cancel your order shortly after placing it, it is possible that we may be unable to prevent goods you have ordered being dispatched to you, if this is the case, you may then be required to return the order to us, for items not required but do require a refund they must be returned at your cost to us within 7 working days and un-used in the origional packaging.

If you have received faulty or damaged goods please use our Contact Form and explain the problem, and if you require a simple collection and credit, or a replacement item, we will normally respond to all emails within one hour, during a normal day. *Please note that any item provided free of charge, e.g. in a promotion (buy x get x free) will not be covered by any warranty.

Remittance Terms

Payment can be accepted by cheque or Bacs for telephone orders. Goods will be despatched once cleared funds have been received.
